Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Shipping policy

Because Virtual Vintage recognizes and appreciates the value that the USA Postal Service’s Priority Mail provides, e.g. fast reliable delivery, tracking number, delivery confirmation, shipping container and insurance; it is the preferred package delivery service used in most cases.

Most items that are well above a (hidden or published) reserve will either cost the buyer no more than $9.99 or all shipping and handling fees will be absorbed by Virtual Vintage, as a courtesy.

Because Bonanza charges a Final Value Fee (to sellers) for any item(s) with a shipping cost of $10.00 or more and they charge $2.00 per order for any/all orders that do not use Bonanza’s proprietary shipping labels, Virtual Vintage must add those costs to the valuation of any/all item(s) that are subjected to this policy.

Once Virtual Vintage submits a purchased item to a delivery or courier service, it is the buyer’s (owner’s) sole remedy regarding any and all problems occurring at such a point in time, is via the delivery or courier service’s own problem resolution capabilities, such as, but not necessarily limited to, USA Postal Service’s Priority Mail insurance.

Virtual Vintage may withhold purchased items from shipping, until any/all funds (debts) owed to the seller are available to them, including any holds placed by Pay Pal, Bonanza or any other party; but may only elect to do so for buyers with a score of three (3) or less.

Return policy

None: All purchases final

Due to being a small operation, at this time Virtual Vintage does not permit returns or exchanges; one exception being face-to-face sales. A buyer (owner) may inspect, handle, try-on Etc. purchased item(s) and request a refund if they are dissatisfied with any item(s).

If a buyer wants to return an item for a refund, they may do so during in-person transactions; please read the complete return policy in the miscellaneous policies, terms and conditions, section of the seller’s profile.

Refunds will go through proper Bonanza, PayPal Etc. channels and will be returned in the same form as it was made.

Miscellaneous details

CAUTION-

Because of the tremendous hurricane force winds and conflagrations around southern California, purchases made from Virtual Vintage may be delayed beyond the normal turn-around time (officially seven business days), but usually only three to four business days.

Post Office closures, orders to shelter in-place, congested roads, road blockages and closures is at the root of the problem. Please be aware, any items purchased will be processed, but expect delays.

Although Virtual Vintage is a team effort, but the vast majority of management and duties fall on the shoulders of one person, so with this in mind, be aware that most purchases made on a non-holiday Monday or Tuesday, will likely be filled by Friday of the same week.

Small orders placed on a Wednesday, may be filled by Saturday.

Any orders placed on a Thursday through Saturday, will likely be filled (early) the following week.

Orders placed on Sunday or holiday (Monday) will likely be filled in the middle or late weekday, of the same week.

Although you may ask a question any time, but please consider the following; if you post it on a non-holiday Monday through Wednesday, will try to reply by Friday.

If you post a question on Thursday through Sunday, will try to reply on non-holiday Monday or as soon as practical.

Please be patient, it may take a few days to reply to any question(s), but will address them in due time.

Terms and Conditions:

All items are sold as-is.

No returns are permitted, but certain exceptions may apply; see below for details.

No exchanges are permitted.

No refunds are permitted except under limited circumstances such as, but not limited to, face-to-face (local) transactions involving trying something on, e.g. shoes, jacket, helmet, Etc. or taking something for a test drive, e.g. bicycle, scooter, automobile Etc. In such cases, the buyer who has tried something on or test driven a vehicle, but they want to return it, they may do so if they return the item(s) in the same condition, i.e. no damage, wear and tear, destruction Etc. Also, the item(s) must be returned immediately to the seller. If test driving an automobile and the buyer wants to return it, the buyer forfeits $100.00 of the purchase price.

Seller is not responsible for listing errors.

No express or implied warranties or guarantees are extended to any item listed or sold.

Seller may change, update, modify, remove (in whole or in part) or make any other changes to their terms and conditions, without advance notice.

Once the seller submits a purchased item to a delivery or courier service, e.g. USA Postal Service, UPS, Fed Ex, Etc., it is the buyer’s (owner’s) sole remedy regarding any and all problems occurring at such a point in time, is via the delivery or courier service’s own problem resolution capabilities, such as, but not necessarily limited to, delivery insurance.

Seller may make any changes to any listing at any time without notice (see exceptions below):

If regarding an auction, no significant changes will be made to any listing after at least one bid is recorded.

Examples of post-bid (auction, Dutch auction) listing changes that may be implemented are, but not limited to, clarifications or to correct error(s).
