PastProgressivePrint breathes new life into art from the past and reimagines it for a progressive future. This shop acknowledges that the past is ongoing, having a strong influence on our lives today. Too often, the celebrated art of the past was not accurately representing the beautiful diversity of being human. This shop aims to gently correct this imbalance, while staying true to the styles of art of each set, viewing the past through a progressive lens.

PastProgressivePrint specialises in digital download gallery art sets, usually composed of nine prints, as well as triptychs, greeting cards, quirky Christmas printables and bookmarks. I combine carefully curated, digitally enhanced, antique art with my digital collages, original artwork and occasionally AI re-interpretations using my own fine-tuned models (using antique styles, not based on art from living artists).

In this shop you might find a charming English Cottage gallery set mixed with subtle pride art, Jane Austen style. Or a Light Academia set celebrating female academic achievement, including women of colour. Or a Dark Academia set which includes darker shades of skin, instead of the usual predominance of very pale faces. Or a Castlecore set inspired by the bravery of Scottish noblewoman Black Agnes who defeated the English siege of Dunbar Castle against the odds. Or a Greek Mythology set focused on Sappho, rejecting heteronormative assumptions. Or a set of Saint portraits and icons, which is careful to reflect the diversity of Catholic and Orthodox saints.
