Welcome to A Rose Designs, featuring the artwork of Allena Yates. Mrs. Yates is a scientist, artist, and musician. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in biology, with course work in drawing, photography, and science illustration. She established A Rose Designs in 2002 with a focus on flowers and their pollinators, with a special interest in local native species.
In the fall of 2018 Mrs. Yates discovered people enjoyed birds she was painting, so she began studying those lovely creatures more closely and making acrylic-painted wood slices as ornaments and magnets.Currently the shop here on Bonanza holds made-to-order products, including hand-painted wood slices and press-printed cards from Mrs. Yates’s original photographs and watercolors. A Rose Designs also has a few cards and magnets in stock.

Shipping policy
If your item is made to order, expect 4-10 business days for me to make it or have it printed before you receive your tracking number. Shipping generally takes 3-12 business days depending on your location and shipping options.
In-stock items generally ship within three business days.
Multi-card packs may ship from my print vendor and arrive flat, scored for folding. When the customer chooses the shipping method, I will ship by that method. All cards include envelopes of a matching size.
Wood slices are shipped USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise arranged.
Return to booth
Return policy
Replacement product available within 30 daysContact the artist to arrange a return or replacement. If product is damaged in shipping, follow the shipping company’s instructions to document damage so a claim can be made.
If the product is unsatisfactory contact the artist/A Rose Designs about arranging a return or replacement. The artist is not liable for costs beyond the original purchase price.
