Beautiful pen

I already own a few Pelikan pens, and have always loved the quality. I purchased this one solely for the appearance. Initially, I was a bit disappointed. The description was green marble and I was picturing a pen similar to an older one I had once seen. This pen looks more like serpentine or some other green mineral with translucent qualities. It is actually quite beautiful in it's own right. As with all Pelikan pens, it writes perfectly straight out of the box and is a wonderful pen.
