This is the first time I have broken a shaft and didn't realize it was a metal shaft, so the extractor did not work to remove the broken part that was screwed in.

Pretty straightforward concept. These nose cones are inexpensive and really make your flights last longer. Also helps make dart more aerodynamic. What else could you want?
My family loves a game of tag which is essentially trying to hit someone else’s darts from regulation distance with their own. It mangles flights and it’s what we do with the ones just slightly too damaged to use for precision throwing. We run through them that way so quickly that we need more than just the damaged flights to play tag with. We’ve started a fresh flights garland. Likely will be back to purchase more of these. They’re great flights and the price is excellent. Highly recommend this product!
