Vintage "Road Mile-O-Graph" w/instructions by Valley Research Systems, Inc From the 50's-early 60's. You set the scale according to the map distance scale than you roll the end of the pen along the road you wish to travel to get the distance in miles. It is able to change the scales according to the maps. This eliminates having to add up all the individual distances on a road map, etc. Comes with original instructions.
While I can't see much use for this with GPS systems on everything, it could come in handy using a trail map or hiking, biking, etc. because if you don't have a signal you don't have aphone and without a phone you don't have a gps.
Condition is "Used, but not much if at all" as the instructions were stapled to the plastic bag it was in. Shipped with USPS First Class.
