Condition ACCEPTABLE

A compilation of enduring melodies, folk songs, classics, and favorites representing all schools of musical thought.

This 12 x 9-inch book from 1952 has 191 pages. It is old so there is lots of wear and a few rips but the book is still fully usable and all music is readable. Please see the images.

FOREWORD
Through the ages man has used his voice to express his mood, his emotions, his joy and his sorrow. It is because of the immediate accessibility of the human voice that song in all of its forms, is still the basic medium of our musical expression—a meeting ground of words with sounds to express them.
Song collections are no novelty today. As publishers we have delved into the vast storehouse of vocal literature time and again to fashion and make available a cross-section of all pertinent types of song from current popular melodies to the great classics. Yet each year seems to bring more specialized interests and demands from those who find true joy in singing.
In this collection–Music For Everyone–Famous Songs The World Over—we have striven to make available an even more comprehensive treasury of song than heretofore. We believe this album, because of its unusual content, to be an open door to those enduring songs which are virtually a necessity in the experience of all who are interested in vocal music.
