Vintage Continental AB Rhinestone Shooting Comet Flower Brooch 1950s

Stunning, Brilliant signed Continental AB rhinestone Shooting Comet and Flower brooch  circa 1950's.
The brooch has a imaginative,  stylized form of a shooting  Comet , popular in the Art Deco era, and a Flower covered with prong set  Chaton cut AB rhiestones in different size.Sparkles !
The Rhinestones are very good quality, Continental only used Austrian crystals,  all are prong set in a gold tone metal setting.
Dimensions: 2 1/4" x 2" inches at the widest point.
All stones are present , Sparkly and original to the piece, no fleabites, dark ones or any other damage.
The gold tone setting shows no wear and the pin clasp works fine.

1940s - 1977. Founded by Sol Mayoff and Sam Baker. Montreal Canada~ Well thought of company that produced high quality rhinestone pieces. Their pieces are often compared to the greats such as Sherman, They became one of Canada's largest manufacturers. The company was sold to a Far East interest in 1977.
