The oversized Video Gems box has been cut and mounted in a white, hard plastic clamshell keepcase. Some of the type has been cut off at the edges. It has a chip out of the top left corner with a tiny piece of white glass tape to reinforce a little crack. Bottom left corner also has a small piece of tape to reinforce a tiny crack.

Cover has a round sticker on the top right and a 'G' rating sticker on the lower left corner (see photo). Inside of case is missing the top reel hub, but still holds the cassette just fine. Pre-viewed for quality and plays great, cassette is nice and clean with a small narrow 'rewind' sticker across the top of the title label.

Cult director Rene Cardona directs this dubbed in English family movie which is kind of rare. Out Of Print (OOP) and no longer being manufactured in any format.

Thrills and surprises abound in this classic tale by the master of adventure, Jules Verne. The year is 1862. The location, England. Professor Ferguson is about to set off on a dangerous expedition in the great hot-air balloon, Victoria. Accompanying him are young Scotsman Dick Kennedy and the professor's comic assistant, Joe. The journey begins with much fanfare as the vast balloon rises to the cheers of the assembled crowd.

But soon, the intrepid crew is in the thick of danger. They are fired upon by mounted Bedouins intent on bringing the mighty balloon to earth. Barely managing to escape, the professor and crew take refuge in a native village where they rescue a captive slave girl, and take to the winds once more.

Floating above magnificent scenery, they cross the equator; the balloon roped to an elephant for a quick tow. Their further travels are loaded with mystery, suspense, excitement, narrow escapes, thrilling rescues, and the rare beauty of soaring balloon flight. It's an adventure not to be missed...and the surprising climax is 24 carat Jules Verne.
