Offered here is this interesting vintage Hermes Olympia Plaster figural Bust of David lamp. It hs a number on the back, and is in fairly good condition, although it is quite dusty and needs a good cleaning. It does have some small areas of dings and and nicks on it. There is some other writing on the top but it is faded and worn and very hard to make out. I am unsure of the exact age of this piece, or if it was originally a lamp or was made into a lamp. The base is brass, as is the lamp shade holder that runs up the back and is supposed to attach to the top of the head, however, it has come loose and will need to be reglued. The lamp, as far as I can tell, is not in working condition, and most likely needs to be rewired. It is a fascinating, interesting piece. The lamp is 39" tall at the top of the finial, about 31" tall at the light socket, is about 17" across the shoulders, about 11" front to back, and the base is about 8" in diameter. This is a fascinating beautiful vintage lamp and is definitely a statement piece!
