This William Adams English ironstone cup and saucer is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The saucer has crazing, which is not at all unusual for antique ironstone wear, and the crazing is not noticeable because of the busy pattern. According to Kovel's New Dictionary of Marks, the design registry number on the bottom of the saucer indicates the set was produced in 1913. There are two white lines visible through one of the pictures on the saucer, but these are under the glaze and occurred in the manufacturing process. Priority shipping and insurance are included in the listing price. NO SHIPPING OUT OF THE U.S. Please email with questions.
