This is a vintage powder compact, made of gold-tone metal with a glossy white painted lid that features "Ford's First Car, 1896" on it.  It is still in its original box, but there are no markings on either the box or the compact itself, so I have no idea who the manufacturer is.  I also don't know how old it is; I picked it up at an estate sale about 20 years ago just because I thought it was cool, but even after looking around from time to time over all these years I have never run across another like it.  It is the refillable kind of compact, with a protective screen inside for the powder, and it's never been used at all (so, just to be clear, there is no powder in this compact and it is meant for you to put in your own).  It does have a mirror inside the lid, and a spring mechanism so you push a button on the front and it pops open.  The compact is old but in perfect, brand-new condition; the box shows some wear and has a little damage.  Asking $5.00 obo.  Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.

ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP.

I sell a huge variety of stuff to supplement my income and help me put the last of my kids through college. Some items come from flea markets or estate sales, and some come from around our home, but many items come to me from my extended family of hardcore hoarders. So, the variety really can be vast and unpredictable. Please check back often, because you really never know what I will have from one day to the next!

Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
