Terrified that a prowler was in her mansion, she grabbed a shotgun and fired two shots. Unfortunately she killed her husband, Billy Woodward, heir to a huge banking fortune. "I did it," she screamed at the policemen, "I thought it was a prowler." Everyone from the gossip mongers to the police had their suspicions. How could she not have known it was her husband who was standing in front of her? Or did she? If so, why would Ann want to kill Billy Woodward?
