Welcome To My sale!

Vintage Lord Nelson Ware tankard by Elijah Cotton, made in Staffordshire England.

One side depitcts picture of everyone off to Widdecombe Fair and on the other side are the words to the rhyme.

No chips. There is some light crazing to the jug. Crazing is a network of lines or cracks in the fired glazed surface. It happens when a glaze is under tension. A craze pattern can develop immediately after removal from the kiln or years later.

Has some rubbing to the silver handle and rim.

The pattern around the bottom has a little bit of discolouration in a couple places, but I think thats to do with the making.

Unused, has only been used for display purposes

Hight: approx 10.2 cm
Top Width: approx 7.3 cm
Base Width: approx 8.8 cm

This is a lovely Lord Nelson Ware tankard.
