This is a Great ESTATE FIND in northern Minnesota
it comes with a paper telling the story of this piece - "This Petit point embroidery on horsehair was on an ottoman stool - the work of Sarah F. Buckingham Baldwin, mother of Winnifred B. Seeley who was Maternal Grandmother of William E. Pond . She Died in Lyons, Iowa April 9, 1885. "
I would guess that this piece was made around 1850. its great to see that it has been so well preserved!

it has non glare glass on it. and a cream mat

the work is great! 2 ladies on a rug, with a bird on a perch next to them, palm trees and plant on a pillar.
