This is an unusual hand crafted artisan “Leaf Face” pendant. It has a cut out face in the shape of a leaf that is formed from a thin silver tone metal. It measures approximately 2 ½ inches long and 2 inches wide. I am guessing that this is a stylized abstract version of the “Green Man”, Earth’s spiritual protector of all things natural and the symbol of rebirth. It often represents the cycle of growth each spring and the motif is found in many cultures throughout history.
This Pendant is in great pre-owned condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The metal has normal little imperfections and surface marks you find in handcrafted jewelry. You only see these with magnification. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe. Please note that the chain in the photos is not included.
This would be perfect to wear with any outfit. It is sure to be a conversation starter, it is quite unique. It really does make an impression.
