Item description for Chipita Brooch Pin Oval Stone Cabochon Beaded Leather Dangles Signed

This is a beautiful handcrafted brooch or pin. The designer is Joan Eagle (also referred to as Chipita Eagle). She is Native American and is located in Colorado. She has been creating jewelry since the early 1970s and her jewelry is made using natural gemstones, crystals, brass, metallic beads and metal ornaments. The brooch has a top portion that is a natural tan and beige oval stone cabochon surrounded by little hand stitched multi-color beads. The back of the brooch is off white creamy leather with hand stitching around the edge. Dangling from the oval top piece are stands full of beads, crystals, and a variety of ceramic and metal shapes. The brooch is signed “Chipita” in a gold tone oval plate. The brooch measures approximately 1 ¾ inches wide and 2 ¾ inches tall from the top of the brooch to the bottom of the dangles.

This brooch is in great vintage pre-owned condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. All of the beads and crystals are in place and securely attached. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be perfect with any outfit. It is an eye-catching brooch that is sure to bring many compliments. It is a unique creation with a funky Bohemian look and is a form of wearable art.
