Item description for Vintage Solid Copper Owl Tree Branch Brooch Pin Bell Trading Post USA

This is a cute copper owl brooch or pin on the original display card it came with. It is highly detailed with etched wings, ears, head, stomach, beak and even the branch it is standing on. The eyes are raised copper balls. It was made by the Bell Trading Post, but is unsigned. The front of the card reads “Solid Copper Made in U.S.A. by American craftsmen.” The bottom of the card has the Bell hallmark on the left corner and the right side the number 38C. It measures approximately 1 ¾ inches tall and 7/8 of an inch wide across the branch. The Bell Trading Company of Albuquerque, New Mexico operated from 1932 through 1972. They sold Native American jewelry at tourist locations throughout the southwest United States.

This charming vintage owl brooch is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I don’t believe it was ever worn. It has a bar pin on the back that works fine.
