- This is the Israeli army Alexandroni brigade pin.
- The Alexandroni Brigade (formerly the 820 Brigade and the 609th Brigade) was a reserve unit of the IDF, which began as a combat unit in the War of Independence and was assigned to protect the Sharon region.
- With the declaration of the state of Israel, Alexandroni became an IDF brigade.
- After the first Lebanon war, the brigade became an infantry brigade and was renamed the 609th Brigade.
- The Brigade took part in the Second Lebanon War.The soldiers fought continuously in the villages of Rajmin, for fifteen days. During the fighting, the battalion killed dozens of terrorists, including three Hezbollah terrorists, and destroyed many weapons.
