Item description for Vintage Parrot Bird Macaw On Branch Brooch Pin Figural Enamel Metal

This is a vintage highly detailed Parrot on a branch brooch or pin. The parrot’s body is open work with lines cut all the way through. It is enameled in earth tone colors of browns, oranges and yellows. The back of the brooch is a dark gunmetal black color. It measures approximately 2 inches tall and 1 1/8 inches wide. It is unmarked.

This brooch is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are no chips or cracks and only miniscule enamel loss that is only visible under magnification. There is a tiny spot of finish loss on the brown part of the wing that you can see if you look closely at the photos, but it is hard to see without the camera’s close up photography. It has a rollover safety clasp on the back. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be a nice addition to your enamel figural jewelry collection. It is a classic accessory for bird lovers that will go with any outfit. It would look great for any beach party, luauyou’re your next tropical vacation on a cruise ship.
