This is a gorgeous and striking pinwheel flower designer signed brooch. It utilizes different textures for the whirling petals that adds to the depth and uniqueness of the piece. The silver or pewter has an almost golden tint to it and a striped lined pattern to it. The gold is bright and shiny. In the center of the flower is a round stamen in a textured silver. It is signed on the back “ART ©”. Arthur Pepper created the Mode Art and ART company in the late 1940s. This is most likely from the 1960s. The brooch is quite large and measures approximately 2 ½ inches in diameter.

It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It is a high quality piece that would make a great addition to your collection of vintage jewelry.

This would look great on a V-neck dress to accent the cleavage area, on the lapel of a jacket or even pinned to a plain black evening bag to dress it up for an elegant look.
