(2) Two Antique Cabinet Card Photographs. Identified as Georgia Cannell, (Mrs. L.W. Sanborn.) Her residence is noted on the back of one of the portraits as Bridgeton, Maine. One photo was taken in a studio in Portland, Maine. The other credits photographer E.M. Berry but does not state the location of the studio. Measure approximately 4.25 x 6.5 including mounts. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They are in very good condition. Comments: Other photos from this family collection (all sold separately) include a studio portrait of Sarah (nee: Thorp) Exley with her sister Harriet Thorp Mitchell. It was taken in a studio in Westerly, Rhode Island; a photo of Sarah Thorp and her husband Ira Exley taken in Providence, RI; a photo of Harriet with her husband John Mitchell, taken in a studio in Westerly, Rhode Island; and finally a photo of a baby identified as "Ann Mitchell, died when 9 years old" taken in Westerly, RI and who was more than likely the child of Harriet & John. We also have inventoried a few cabinet photos of the inter-related Cannell and Thorp families of Rhode Island (also sold separately) including Katherine "Kate" W. Cannell Thorp, her husband Fred Thorp, and his mother; Winburn Scott Cannell who was born in Maine about 1880 and was a 1903 graduate of Tufts University; and Georgia Cannell Sanborn who resided in Bridgton, Maine.
