This gorgeous fish brooch with amazing detail was made by Cynthia Chuang and Erh-Ping Tsai. It is signed with an impressed “Jewelry 10” trademark on the back of the pin. It has a porcelain body with wire and crystal and glass art seed bead accents and springs. It is accented with 22k gold leaf detail. It has glass eyes, white with black centers. It is highly detailed and has a whimsical nature to it. The colors are vivid and this is a wearable piece of art. It measures approximately 2 ½ inches in length.

I don’t have the original card that comes with the jewelry, but ones I have seen online read “Cynthia Chuang and her husband Erh-Ping Tsai began their careers as painters and sculptors and evolved and perfected their work with porcelain and metals into a distinctive line of hand-made jewelry. The results can be whimsical or sophisticated, but always original. Their love of the natural world inspired them to create a line of fanciful creatures to wear or display, which has won them many awards, and for which they have become particularly well known.” Fish pieces similar to this one sell on the website for $70.00 to $150.00. This one is a unique piece of wearable art.

It is in great pre-owned condition as you can see from the many enlarged photographs. There are no chips, crazing or scratches on the enamel. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
