This is a stunning brooch with a frog sitting on a brown mottled stone framed in a three tier gold band. The applied frog has the look of the Pre-Columbian style frogs. His main body is set in the jelly belly style with a mottled turquoise round stone. The rest of the frog is a gold tone metal. The brooch measures approximately 2 inches long and 1 ½ inches wide. The brooch is not signed.
It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. It has a roll-over clasp on the back. It works just fine and closes securely. Please look at all the photos as they show the details better than I can describe and are considered part of the description.
This would be a nice addition to anyone’s collection of vintage Figural jewelry. It will look great on a sweater or blouse with your favorite pair of jeans for that casual chic look, on the lapel of your favorite jacket, or with that little black dress for a fancy evening out.
