Item description for Vintage Mixed Metal Copper Silver Cobre Mexico Brooch Pin Star Moon

This brooch is made from copper and silver and it is signed on the back Cobre Mexico. The top portion of the brooch is diamond shaped with applied silver pieces and decorated with dangling charms, which I believe are sterling silver, but they have not been tested. There is a star, a quarter moon, the planet Saturn, and a heart. There are glass Aurora Borealis beads as accents that have the look of carnival glass. There in one in a lantern shape in shades of bluish greens, another teardrop shaped bead in pinkish red, and a small one in purple. It measures approximately 2 inches by 2 inches.

It is in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. Please look at all the photos as they show the details better than I can describe and are considered part of the description.

This would be a nice addition to anyone’s collection of vintage Mexican jewelry. This is a perfect gift for anyone who studies the planets or enjoys astronomy. It will look great on a sweater or blouse with your favorite pair of jeans for that casual chic look.
