VINTAGE AUTHENTIC WOODEN fisherman buoy.

You can find cheaper, lighter-weight reproduction fisherman buoys for less money. But if you're only ever going to buy one....and you want a REAL ....authentic.....Old fisherman buoy ......this one is special. Wonderful color....HEAVY weight......still with the wooden dowel rod (SO many times when you find these the rod is LONG gone).....and authentic aged and weathered patina from years of actual USE.......THIS one is a beauty.

Fishermen use these buoys to "mark their spots" (each with a unique combination of colors).

You will see some surface (only) cracks indicative of age and use. They simply add to the authenticity and charm of the piece.

Measures 31 3/4" tall WITH the wooden dowel rod....The wooden buoy itself is 16" tall.....6" wide & 19 1/2" AROUND.! HEAVY....HEAVY piece at TEN and a Half POUNDS!
