This is an outstanding pair of vintage clip back earrings that belonged to my Mom. They are most likely from the 1950s or 1960s, but I'm just guessing. These gorgeous earrings are made of six brilliant lipstick red opaque teardrop shaped beads and one round red one on each earring. The red beads are surrounded by fourteen milk white ones. I believe these are glass beads, but I'm not a jewelry expert so it is an educated guess. I'd appreciate any comments from visitors. All of them are prong set and each stone is held in place by four prongs, the backs are enclosed. The earrings contour up the ears beautifully as you can see in the picture.

These earrings are in excellent vintage condition. There is a slight dark spot in one of the large red teardrops, you don't see it without the magnification and you may not even notice it in the pictures. The earrings measure just over 1 1/2 inches in length and are 1 inch wide. There is the normal slight tarnish on the back you would expect from wear. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

These would look so great during the Christmas Holidays with that favorite red dress or sweater. They would also be perfect on Valentine's Day or any other day you choose. Great for dress up or those casual jeans. A truly stunning splash of color in a quality vintage set of earrings.
