Beautifully detailed, cast pewter sculpture, created by Yaacov Heller of world-wide acclaim. He is a fabulous artist and it is rather rare to find his sculptures available for sale anymore, at least the ones from his earlier days.
Heller often did and still does sculptures and art that deal with Biblical scenes, and this is no exception. Focusing on the scripture of Isaiah 54:17, concerning the story of "David and Goliath", this wonderful statue brings the story to life with the bold detail of the slaying of the giant.
It is a wonderful thing to own a Heller statue, especially a limited edition. This is number 35422/100,000 (marked) and has his incised signature on the piece as well. There is also the actual scripture from the Bible that the piece depicts.
