This sale if for a Armstrong Elkhart Ind. U.S.A.
Closed Hole Flute, Model 102. This flute was just traded in by one of my top level flute students. It has been very carefully cared for as long as she owned it. Every year it visited the shop for a $60-$80 yearly maintenance (this is what I recommend for all of my flute students). Because of its tip top playing condition, she could always whip off a 3 octave chromatic scale all the way up to high C. She also used it to prepare Maine Allstate Auditon pieces. She really hates giving the flute up, but it was time to move up to the next level flute and she needed to trade in order to afford the next flute. This flute just got out of the shop for its yearly trip and is playing very well (as usual). Also, the pads are in great condition as I have shown in the pictures and it comes with a clean and sturdy heavy Armstrong case. The flute does have some light surface scratches from normal wear and tear, but no gouges and no deep scratches. My repair technician said that the best flute that Armstrong ever made was this era of #102's--they are very well put together (in his opinion-I tend to agree).

**This closed hole flute is silver plated with a C foot and offset G key.

I am a professional flute teacher and principal chair orchestral flute player so there is no question in my ability to test the instruments that I sell (my very talented instrument technician always trust my judgments in test playing and many times waits for my approval before completing his work on it). This instrument is well working and ready to play. I've tested it twice already and both times I was very pleased.....this instrument plays very easily and with great tone.

The pads to the flute are in very good condition (as can be seen in the pictures) and seal very well. The flute comes with a quite clean case that also is sturdy. There is a cleaning rod included .

Many times students are given instruments that just don't work--I don't even know how kids play some of the instruments they have! Sheer determination I guess; but not all kids are that determined. Many quit, thinking they just don't have it but its really the instrument. I played on a terrible instrument at one point in my studies and barely grew in ability for 3 years--it was terrible! Here are a couple of articles to help you understand more of what ***********************************************************************************************************************
I personally guarantee that this instrument is ready to play. I also offer a 7-day money back guarantee even if you just don't like it after you get it (It will need to be returned in the same condition it was in when you received it barring any shipping problems)--- When I ship this I will purchase shipping insurance at my expense; I always do for any items worth over $100.

Thanks for Looking!!
