This is a listing for two sets of Penguin families. Each set consists of a father, mother, and two babies for a total of eight (8) Penguins. There is a remnant of the original red foil label on the front of one of the Penguins, the rest are unmarked and without stickers. It would have read “Bone China” and “Japan”. The largest Penguin (father) measures approximately 2 3/8 inches tall, the next size (mother) is 1 ¾ of an inch tall and the babies are approximately 1 ½ inches tall.

These are in wonderful vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are no chips or cracks. There are some flaws from when they were made, a few specks, some areas of thin paint on the beaks and feet. One of the mother penguins has a line running down the side (see arrow in picture), but it doesn’t appear to be damage. There are a couple tiny white dots in the black paint here and there, but you have to really look to find them. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
