LAKE GEORGE NEW YORK / NATIVE AMERICAN WARRIOR FISHING

A color picture of the famous Lake George 'Warrior' statue, presumably late 1920's vintage...

Original postcard, good condition, with the white border having been cut off of the outside edges, and various inscriptions on the reverse, of suitable vintage.

There is the usual greeting message, the address to the recipient in Connecticut and a small pencil note identifying the statue and locale...

  • Early 20thC original, postmarked, but not enough to be able to read the year.
  • Color.
  • The front shows a colour view of a statue at Lake George, basically a Native American about to sort himself out some dinner..
  • In good condition, although note that the white border typical of the era has been 'snipped' off, after the message was written.
  • Otherwise, with minimal light, long term storage wear.
  • No torn areas.
  • 2 pictures uploaded, front and rear.
  • 80mm x 125mm approx.
  • Includes a reference to the weather, just about as mundane as you can get...
  • Picture shows the actual item.

Use the 'Mouse Over to Zoom / Click to Enlarge' feature for meticulous scrutiny of the condition of the item.

Used, priced accordingly...80+ years old and a nice one for the collectors of Native Americana...
