The charming brooch or pin has three cats sitting on the window ledge or sill looking through a paned window and wishing they were outside. There is a little kitten climbing up the drapes or curtains that frame the window. The detail is amazing, even to a tiny rip in the curtain on the side from the kitten climbing up. This brooch is not signed, but it is identical in design to the 1980s brooch designed by the American Jewelry Chain Company "AJC". It has dual posts and two butterfly or military clutch back type fastners for a secure grip. The clutches grip the pin posts after the pins have been pushed through the garment, perfect for a jacket lapel. It measures approximately 1 ½ inches by 1 ¾ inches.

It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are a couple of tiny defects in the diamond cuts (see pictures), obviously original to the piece.

This is a lovely pin for any cat lover, a piece of wearable art.
