This is a gorgeous and delicate detailed ring that has a flat polished oblong piece of golden shell. I’m not positive of the type of shell; it could be Mussel, Abalone, Mother of Pearl or some other shell. This is approximately a Size 6 ¾ to 7 as you can see on the Mandrel ring size stick. Remember that rings will fit differently depending on the size of your knuckles. It measures approximately 1 inch in length and 7/8 of an inch wide. It weighs .20 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 5.67 grams. This is a Native American ring signed WM. I believe that the artist is Wilbert Manning (Navajo). I have seen rings similar attributed to him that are almost identical and would appreciate a message if anyone can confirm this. This is a beautifully designed traditional looking piece of wearable art.

It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. The silver has a lovely patina to it.  I have not polished it as many people prefer the older patina that comes with age. It has the normal wear you would expect on a ring that has been worn a few times. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.

This would be a stunning ring to wear to a fancy cocktail party or with your favorite pair of jeans. It is perfect for all occasions.
