This is a lovely pair of Southwest style oval dangle pierced earrings. Each earring has a nicely detailed Native American design and has three stones, two turquoise with a red coral set in between. The stones are all set in serrated or saw tooth edged bezels. These earrings are not marked, and they have not been tested for silver content so I don't know if they are sterling or not. Each earring measures approximately 1 ΒΌ across and 1 inch tall (not including the earring hook).
These earrings are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished them and they have a nice older patina that only comes with age. I believe that at one time these were clip on or screw back earrings and the pierced French hooks were added to make them work for pierced ears. They could easily be changed back to clips if you so desired to do so. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description and show the details better than I can describe.
This combination of turquoise and red coral makes for a design that will look great with that little elegant black dress or with your favorite pair of casual jeans.
