"General characteristics of Cashmere"

Cashmere is characterized as luxuriously soft, with high napability and loft. It is noted as providing a natural light-weight insulation without bulk. Cashmere is extremely warm (in order to serve its original purpose of protecting goats from cold mountain temperatures.) Fibers are highly adaptable and are easily constructed into fine or thick yarns, and light to heavy-weight fabrics Appropriate for all climates, a high moisture content allows insulation properties to change with the relative humidity in the air.

 This is a gorgeous, soft,  ladies' heather purple (plum color), 100% cashmere cardigan/sweater made by APT 9. It is made in China.

This sweater has a round neck and 9 buttons in the front. It has a yolk in the in the front with slight ruching (gathering) under it (see picture).

 It has a 2 1/2 inch rib on the bottom edge and 3 inch rib on the sleeve cuffs.

     Made of: 100% Cashmere.

Measurements:

Length (from the back of the neck to the bottom): 23 inches

Width (across the back, armpit to armpit): 17 inches

Sleeve Length (from armpit to cuff): 20 inches

Truly gorgeous and very soft, this sweater has been worn a few times very gently, and is in excellent condition.
