This stunning art glass canister features ribbed sides, thick upper lip, heavyweight base with blown glass pontil mark, natural bubbles in the glass and a black smoky shade. It stands 8-1/2" tall with a 3-1/2" diameter opening and a 6" diameter base. It does not have a lid - could be used as a canister, jug, apothecary jar, or vase. It is similar to a Wilhelm Wagenfeld vase I found via google image search, but I cannot be certain without a maker's mark or tag. Other similar makers include Pilgrim and Holmegaard who both tended to use sticker labels that were often removed.

The condition is as shown in the photographs. No chips or cracks. A few surface scratches, but nothing significant. No lid. Has natural bubbles in the glass including a large 3/4" bubble.
