Callaway Big Bertha 6, 7, 8, 9, P, S Irons SET Graphite & Steel Shaft RH - 1994, 1996

The size of the clubhead and the volume of the cavity allowed Callaway Golf to push weight farther out to the edges of the clubhead.

The "Short, Straight, Hollow Hosel" or S2H2 allows less weight in the neck of the club and helps keep weight low in the club to promote higher launch and spin. The hollowed hosel allows the shaft to extend to the sole of the club, giving a more stable feel at impact.

The 1994 models had the number stamped toward the toe of the club. 6 Iron
The 1996 model had a more pronounced cut-out bevel on the trailing edge of the center of the sole, and the number was located in that bevel. 7-PW Irons.

Review: " don't know why Callaway keeps coming up with new stuff...Big Bertha (big ugly) are probably the best iron I have ever hit, a lot better than the X-12, X-14, X-16, X-18, X-20 or even with the 1996 Big Bertha. I have a feeling when I hit the ball I can't work the ball as much as a blade, but is forgiving and the distance is just superb. I play around 60 rounds of golf a year, my game is around 75-79, I tried every thing on the market (demos) but always keep my old Big Berthas in the bag, why? Simply because they where the best years ago and they are still the best now. Don't let anyone tell you that these clubs have a too much wide sole, true the sole is wide but it cuts just right in any kind of rough, you can get these clubs for around $250.00 . Don't wait another day, you wont regret buying these clubs"

2nd Review: ''I've been playing these irons for over 10 years now and I can't let go of them. They are hands down my favorite iron set. I have played many different irons, new and old and no other iron goes as long as these. Very nice design and shape. Blade shape with cavity back forgiveness. All my friends make fun of me for playing these club but anyone who has hit these clubs knows that they're a real gem."

These irons are in good condition, there are minimal scratches, have very playable grips, great looking shafts as well as minimal groove wear. Some clubs have some rust discoloration.

These irons will be a great addition as your Mid-Short iron set for many years.

7,8,9 Irons have Callaway Golf RCH 96 Series Firm Flex Graphite Shafts

6, P, S Wedge have steel shafts

Mostly Tour Wrap style playable grips

Grooves are sharp, clean, and deep
