Clarkia does not like to be transplanted to it's best to direct seed in very early spring after the threat of frost has passed. These seeds are very small so we mix them with peat, or sand, before sowing to get an even distribution. In most climates these last until early summer, but in milder climates you can reseed until the summer heat gets to them
