Bacopa australis is a very undemanding aquatic plant and makes a great choice for beginners.  Bacopa australis can tolerate a wide variety of aquarium conditions from low to high lighting and varying hardness.  Bacopa australis has small, round, lime green leaves that help to add a different texture and color in the aquarium.  Use Bacopa australis as a background plant in a nano tank or keep some stems trimmed back in the midground area of the planted aquarium.
