Heavy 1980 Austin Sculpture of Kuan Yin, Chinese Bodhisattual Goddess of Compassion, Mercy and Kindness. Piece taken from the 17th Century. Statue stands approx 16 1/2" tall and 8 1/4" wide. Green tinted sculpture is affixed to a wooden base. Paperwork in the pictures is in a plastic sleeve on the underside of the base. Please see photos. There are minor lines of missing paint from normal display & storage, but no major damage. No cracks or breakage. Difficult to see in the photos, but sculpture is NOT white. It has a green tint to it. Not sure of the material of the sculpture, but my best guess is Terracotta that has been painted light green. You will have to make that determination on your own.
