This new old stock Quick bit is a very unusual cast aluminum fixed shank show bit with a high port mouthpiece.  The bit has some light surface wear to the shanks and discoloration storage, but has never been used.   The bit features a 5 inch wide mouthpiece with a 2-1/2 inch tall high port mouthpiece.  The shanks measure 8-1/2 inches long, and the purchase measures 2-1/2 inches for a 3.4 to 1 leverage ratio.  This is a nicely weighted and balanced bit and weighs 11.3 ounces.  This particular bit design adds extra palate pressure and provides some minimal tongue relief when reins are used.
