This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CLASP that was made in the ART DECO PERIOD of c1925 - c1935. It is made from 18K YELLOW GOLD & PLATINUM. This clasp is suitable for a bracelet or a necklace and it can accommodate up to THREE STRANDS of beads or pearls. If you have large bead/pearl strands, you may consider having one or two of the rings removed so that the clasp can be used with a single or double strand. I get endless requests for antique clasps, so now is your chance to acquire one.
The clasp is set with 26 THICK OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS of G to J color, VS to SI clarity that weigh approx. 1.95 ctw. It is also set with 5 SYNTHETIC BLUE SAPPHIRES that are ROUND OLD MINE CUTS weighing approx. .78 ctw. - synthetic colored stones were common for the period. The clasp measures 13/16” long by 9/16” wide and the total weight is 7.5 grams. FLEXIBLE OPTIONS FOR USAGE … LOTS OF SPARKLE … FINE QUALITY ... HARD TO FIND!
