BASICALLY, THIS IS A BLOCK MOUNT FUEL PUMP TO INSTALL IN PLACE OF THE ORIGINAL VRO PUMP. WE'VE ADDED A LENGTH OF 5/16 FUEL LINE IN CASE YOU DAMAGE A LINE IN THE TRANSITION & SOME PROPER TY STRAPS TO SECURE THE LINES. JUST LAY ASIDE THE VRO OIL WARNING LEAD WIRES FROM THE HARNESS. TO INSTALL: • REMOVE YOUR OLD VRO PUMP AND OIL LINE INTO IT. • LOCATE AND REMOVE THE PULSE LINE AND FLAME ARRESTER FITTING FROM THE CRANKCASE AND PLUG WITH THE 1/8" PIPE PLUG IN THE KIT. * Note to installation images above: a few motors have the pulse fitting at the installation site rather than at the block. If yours is like this, just remove that fitting and continue as below. • LOCATE AND REMOVE THE 7/16 HEX BOLT PLUG ON PORT SIDE OF CRANKCASE, THIS IS YOUR NEW PRESSURE PULSE PORT. • MOUNT PUMP WITH SCREWS AND GASKET FURNISHED. • INVERT THE SMALL LOG MANIFOLD TO CARBS SO THAT THE INLET POINTS DOWN, USING FUEL LINE PROVIDED ROUTE FUEL OUT FROM PUMP TO LOG • REMOVE THE FUEL FILTER FROM THE FUEL IN LINE AND CUT TO SUIT, ATTACH TO FUEL INLET ON PUMP. (if you wish you can insert the filter in line between fuel connector and pump) NOW YOU HAVE THE SAME SYSTEM USED ON THE PRE-VRO AND COMMERCIAL MODELS! NOW JUST PRE-MIX OIL & GAS IN THE FUEL TANK AT 50:1 (ONE PINT OIL TO 6 GALLONS OF GAS) OTHER MODEL AND YEAR KITS AVAILABLE, INQUIRE. PICTURES ARE REFERENCE ONLY, ITEM PACKAGING MAY VARY BY VENDOR.
