One of my "jewelry with a story" pieces. This 40" long silvertone, charm studded, chain necklace was reinvented from a broken pair of vintage clip on earrings (broken during a halloween costume party), 2 vintage necklaces and 1 new necklace. It can be worn as a single chain or doubled for a drape effect. I think it, and the earrings, turned out amazing.

Collectible Vintage Jewelry - My mother sold Cathe, Sarah Coventry and a few beautiful estate pieces in the early 1960s. This was an era when costume jewelry was quality, intricately detailed and is still stunningly beautiful. I spent many a happy hour imagining being a princess/pirate with my chest of jewelry. I inherited her tremendous collection but now Its time for someone else to enjoy these treasures.
