My shop name is winebeerglasses, same as my former Etsy shop (see the last image).  I have a perfect 5-star customer rating from my buyers at Etsy for five years.  I left Etsy because Etsy's customer support is unbearable.  I decided to migrate to Bonanza.

I build and restore vintage automatic watches as a hobby using my knowledge in precision engineering and aestheics.  All my watches are freshily lubricated, timegrapher regulated, and cleaned to restore the pleasure of wearing a vintage watch with its full functionalities and timing performance.

I do not use Chinese-made parts, even the spring bars are Swiss Made.

I was obsessed with date pointer watches with a sub-second dial. I searched up and down to find one to restore. Most of them are handwinding. I found a new old stock Bulova pointer watch with 10BPAD automatic movement. They are very rare and very pricy. I decided to build my own with a nice Swiss made date pointer dial.

It takes lots of effort to gather all the parts and it took even more effort to put them together. The pointer hand is hard to find and the deep stem sub second is rare as well. They are all pricy in parts alone.

I do not use bracelets, cases or movements from China, as many mod watches on Etsy. Though the looks in pictures of those mods are fancy, China made parts are plentiful, cheap, and sub-par, in my opinion.

This is essentially a new watch, NOS movement, dial, hands, and case. The entire watch looks like an egg, with shell, egg white, and egg yolk in the middle, with an extra baby yolk as the subdial second circle.

The watch case is a Swiss made Zeno case with a good looking oval shape and nice polished features. The Bulova 10BPAD movement is brand new, NOS, but missing the automatic winding mechanism. I have to add it from a Bulova 11AFAC movement. The stainless steel bracelet is USA made by Fairchild, good looking and high quality, will fit up to a 7" wrist.

Bulova 10BPAC is one of the best Bulova movements before they went cheap. The winding action is smooth and sweet. With six adjustment, it offers very high timing accuracy.

Most date pointer watches you found are for parts, not running, and dirty. This one essentially is new watch and you cannot find a second one like it.

As in any vintage watches, keep it from water. The back cover has an O-ring and the crown has an O-ring, so it can withstand some water splash while washing hands; however, I never test its water proof capability. Keep the water away is the best strategy.

I took many pictures for you to review its quality and condition. You won't find a second watch with the same look and combination. It is about 41 mm across and 40 mm lug to lug, for a classical look, not those outlandish large but cheaply made watches flooding the store.

The sale is final. I will however provide a three-month warranty. Within 3 months, if there is any issues, send the watch back and I will correct it and ship it back. The buyer only pays for the one way shipping cost to me.

It is time to wear something different against the onslaught of electronics. In terms of the art of mechanical design, 60s and 70s were the peak. After that, it is all half electronics or full electronics.
