Now living in a mouse tenement, the Mousekewitz family has learned the streets of America are not all paved with cheese. Young Tanya wants to be a singer. Fievel dreams of becoming a tough lawdog like his hero Wylie Burp.

Lured out west by the crafty Cat R. Waul, Fievel discovers the evil gent's plan to turn the settlers into mouse-burgers. With the aid of his cat friend Tiger, the two team up with Wylie Burp to stop the sinister plot.
