Nice hardcover, blue cloth over board book written from an army soldier's perspective.  There is a newspaper clipping pasted in the back about this book.   It states:  "The author thinks that the gernerals have had too much to say in regard to the history of the war, and that it might be high time the privates had their turn."

Measures approx 5" x 6.75" with 246 pages.  Complete and intact with the exception of missing the front blank endpapers.
