This is a GORGEOUS and ORIGINAL VINTAGE COCKTAIL RING that was HANDMADE during the 1950s from PLATINUM. The ring is in the design of a BIG FLOWER BLOOM. It is centrally prong-set with 1 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMOND of G-H color, SI clarity that weighs approx. .65 ct. This diamond is very clear and measures 5.4 - 5.9 in diameter. The flower is also set with 4 BRILLIANT CUT DIAMONDS & 76 SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS of G-H color, SI clarity that weigh approx. 1.36 carats. The largest of these stones weigh .05 - .06 ct. and the total diamond weight is approx. 2.01 ctw.
The flower blossom measures 7/8” in diameter and it sits 1/2” high off the finger. The total weight is a heavy and solid feeling 14.2 grams. The shank is made up of 5 wires that come off of each side to form one band at the bottom. The ring has a sizing insert in the bottom that is black and made of unknown metal. The ring fits approx. an 8-1/2 finger, but can be resized. There are some black spots in the gold on the underneath side of the head - these can not be seen from the top.
