This is a nice rare item. It has pencil handwriting on the back but I can only make out a few words: Nettie Puller.

Large oval wood frame measures almost 23"x16.5", ornate with trim in good condition. Nice bubble glass (convex) and below a very good hand colored photograph of a black baby, maybe boy.

The frame looks dirty, but I think it may just be the faux painting technique.

The frame has a couple of small chips, some of the gold gilt is worn away, but overall good.

Excellent original early family and/or town genealogy, history, antique, collectible heirloom and/or ephemera.
