For your consideration is a vintage Santa sitting on a gold rooftop.  This is a mercury glass ornament.  Santa is dressed in the traditional red with a green bag.  It does have a couple of spots of lost coloring as shown.  Still shows really pretty.  It is 6 3/4" tall.
